Why every business should have a brand video

One of the best first steps to adding video into your marketing plan is by creating a brand video. This gives a super clear snapshot of WHO you are and what your business is about. Potential clients can get a feel for who you are and determine if you’re a good fit.

There are two main ways to go about building a brand video:

Option 1: You have the vision, and I jump on board.

  • In this scenario, you already know exactly what your business does, the purpose of the video, where you want the video to live, and the storyline you want to incorporate.

  • My role is to listen and get aligned with THEIR vision for the pre production and shooting of the day. That way, when I’m building the video in the post production phase, I can apply and iron out every detail of their goal.

BUT, some business are running so hard that they don’t know where to start with a brand video, just that they NEED one. I’m here for that, too!

Option 2: We develop the vision together.

  • For this option, we’ll spend a lot of time in the pre production phase. We’ll talk through your business goals, the purpose of the video, ideas for storyline angles, etc.

  • Then we’ll talk through the main platforms where you want to distribute your video-- i.e. website, Linkedin, email marketing, etc.

  • We’ll also work through the BEST content that will serve your clients and what they need.

  • Finally, we’ll for SURE want to clearly communicate the steps someone needs to take to work with you.

At the heart of EVERY brand video is YOU. YOU are what sets your business apart from competitors, so we want to make sure you and your company’s personality and vibe comes out in everything from the location to the music in the background.

Check out a branding video I did with a local business to get an idea of how we can develop the vision together.

See ya later!
